Role Overview

Catalyx is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to work on-site in Cork. The position operates on a two-shift cycle. The primary focus is maintaining and repairing automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. The technician supports the manufacturing team with daily operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves resolving engineering issues and advising on compliance queries. The technician supports continuous improvement by enhancing equipment performance and reliability. Routine assignments follow established SOPs and cGMPs. All equipment downtime must be reported accurately.

  • Coordinate maintenance on critical systems with the Manager.
  • Perform planned maintenance and update the CMMS system.
  • Partner with engineering personnel and external contractors.
  • Comply with all safety regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Leaving Certificate and a Trades Certificate. A minimum of five years of relevant GMP experience is required. Proven experience in regulated automated manufacturing environments is essential. Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations and process manufacturing is necessary.
