Zohorecruit is recruiting a Principal OpenShift Networking Architect based in Dublin 18. This full-time position runs until the end of the year with likely extension. The professional works onsite two days weekly. The role focuses on owning the networking architecture for OpenShift Container Platform and Virtualisation environments. The specialist defines future-state connectivity and segmentation models for container and virtual machine workloads.

Key Responsibilities

The architect leads the shift from traditional NSX-based segmentation to OpenShift-native controls. This involves analysing existing Distributed Firewall policies and rationalising them into scalable patterns. The role requires producing High-Level and Low-Level Designs, standards, and reference architectures. The candidate provides technical leadership on network isolation, multi-tenancy, and software-defined networking. They guide implementation teams and evaluate modern Kubernetes networking platforms.

Required Expertise

Candidates need over ten years in enterprise networking and infrastructure. At least five years of hands-on Kubernetes networking experience is essential.
